looking... looking...

We spent one week full time looking at houses and plans, I ended up with the flu, just in time for our third year wedding anniversary. We walked through what felt like a hundred houses but was probably closer to about 30 in the end. We made our way through three display villages closer to home.

I had thought I had chosen a builder and a floorplan but when walking through was not impressed with the finish and the house seemed to cold and narrow. After talking to the salesman was less than impressed as he made many assumptions about what we wanted in a home, barely let us get a word in then had the audacity to ask us how we would like to pay the deposit the get started and gave us the information the pay... very rude and bad form sir.

Comparison to another home, i had looked at the floorplan of but was not overly impressed, Roger was in love. After talking to th very helpful salesman I was able to invision the minor changes and see the use of the what I thought were useless rooms. I suppose th e moral is, keep an open mind and ask a lot of questions as for every sincerely helpful salesman there would be ten eeeedeots stimpy!
